If the vehicle has 12000km or more, and it has been at least 6 months since the in-service date, the warranty on the vehicle will be honored in Canada. If these requirements are not met, then GM Canada will assume no liability for warranty coverage on a US vehicle GMC charges 250 dollars for their recall clearance letter and it must be obtained from "Vintage Vehicle Services" Warranty will not be honored in Canada for any US honda or acura vehicles. Warranty is generally not honored in Canada, however the case would be submitted and reviewed and at Mazda’s discretion they may or may not cover factory defects. Mercedes requires modifications done to the vehicle in order for it to be at par with Canadian standards. The modifications are not covered by Mercedes, it is up to the importer to get them done. Once the modifications are complete a letter of compliance is issued by the dealer and factory warranty will apply. Please see Ford Please see BMW The US warranty will not be honoured in Canada. The vehicle must be titled and registered in the US in the buyers name, then once it arrives in Canada, it must again be registered in the buyers name in order to receive warranty coverage in Canada, If the warranty is to be transferred to another owner in Canada, it must first be registered under the importer’s name for at least 6 months
